Alessi

This is a debut design by the young Belgian architect and designer Michel Boucquillon, who was inspired by a tree trunk at his home near Lucca in the Tuscan countryside. Beautifully capturing the knots in the wood and its elongated shape, this centrepiece is a highly poetic yet functional object; display fresh fruit or pair with more innovative tabletop accessories.
